TURN City Center for the Arts continues to be VERY lucky with it's volunteers! We are so grateful for them--these artists, musicians, actors, dancers, and writers help us to provide a much larger range of classes than our staff would otherwise be able to offer. Last week, Kent Budge taught a photography workshop. We learned about the Rule of Thirds, composition, and texture. He brought some of his own images to share, and then we did a little shooting of our own! So fun! Check out what some of our artists came up with!

Suzi Blu, with her assistants Courtney & Cody, have designed a Creative Journalling class. Let me just tell you, it is FABULOUS! They brought in donations of art supplies and blank journals, and also brought some pretty great energy. Each of our artists decorated the outside of their journal. The results were quite beautiful! Take a look! We are so SO appreciative of the donation of supplies from Suzi Blu and all of her students! You guys ROCK!

Here is a little taste of our Artist of the Month class from last week. We are currently studying Wassily Kandinsky--the Father of Abstract!
