Nina was recently invited to participate in a group show at the Whitmore Library! Tonight is the Artist Meet & Greet--if you have the time, you should definitely make it out to chat with her and see the artwork!
Date: 10/24/2013 Start Time: 7:00 PM End Time: 8:45 PM Description: Come meet and talk with the artists whose works are on display in the gallery during the month of October. Sponsored by the Cottonwood Heights Arts Council and Salt Lake County Library Services. We are incredibly proud of Nina and her efforts in the art world! She ROCKS! (Pictures from the show to follow!) Somehow, I feel like Gallery Stroll always sneaks up on us a little bit! The show is (mostly) up, treats are prepared, and we are ready to see all of you! I'm excited for all of you to see the new successes of our artists. Month after month, it is a joy to see the ways that these artists have grown, explored, and discovered a new aspect of their artistic voices. Come out and celebrate with us--and please consider purchasing original work or reproductions. Their success is deeply effected by the contributions, support, and donations provided by the Salt Lake community! We appreciate you all so much!
Gallery Stroll is here, again! With the leaves changing, the temperatures dropping, and Halloween right around the corner, it certainly feels like fall! We have tons of Halloween & fall themed pieces this month, in addition to some really phenomenal new work! Scroll down to see a little sneak peak--you won't want to miss this show!
We are very fortunate to have some fantastic supporters in the Salt Lake City area! Recently, 3M gave us a grant, and with those funds we were able to buy mats and a new ballet barre for our movement room! These concrete floors are slick and HARD! Our new mats make for safer dance classes, and our knees feel so much better! And the new ballet barre allows people to practice on both sides, so that more people can participate! We are so grateful for the contributions from individuals, families, and companies. Thank you, 3M, for ensuring that our movement classes are full, fun, and safe!
A huge thank you to Connie Collins, Jan Parke, and all who were involved in the contribution of our iPad! It has been an incredible help and addition to our classes. Our clients have been enjoying the different apps that we have purchased, they are very fun and inspiring!
Right when you think things are going to slow down and be calm, everything gets hectic again! Here is a little glimpse of what we've been up to--a little bit of everything! (Also, Happy October! Soon, you will be seeing some pretty fantastic Halloween themed photos!)
