We have been accruing ceramics pieces for quite some time now, waiting until we had enough items to fill up our volunteer's kiln, and recently we had a ton of things fired (thanks Leslie for letting us use you kiln)! One of the projects from forever ago that we were now able to complete, were some windchimes! In Allison's class, ages ago, we made some pieces, intending to string them together into windchimes. Well, I got a chance to put them together, and they are so charming in every way! They look great, and the tinkling sound they make is just delightful- I kind of wanted one for myself! And, because we have some giving individuals, a few of them wanted to give their windchimes to their mothers for Mother's Day! Man, we have a great group of people here!

Hey all! We've been spending the day making some last minute preparations for our performance showcase tomorrow! In addition to having one last rehearsal/run through, we've also been moving out the foam mats into the performance space, and trying to get some of our chairs a little less painty. Everyone has been working so hard, and I'm so grateful for so many people's willingness to step up and help! I know we'll see some of you there tomorrow- so excited! Hey All! TCCA's annual performance showcase is this week! We've been super busy with rehearsals, and practicing the individual pieces in our respective classes. It's shaping up to be a really fun time, and we're really excited to share our talent! We've already had a lot of people RSVP, and it's going to be a full house- we could probably fit in a few more, so if you're interested in coming, email Katie at [email protected] and let me know how many people will be coming.
