Gahhh! I can't believe it's been a whole month since our last post! We've been keeping super busy, and the result has been some incredible artwork. A few months ago in one of Allison's classes, some of our participants pulled together some pieces for a show, a show which we will be featuring in our small gallery this Friday at Gallery Stroll! The show is entitled "Don't Push Me Around," and it features a variety of artwork that explores and expresses the life experiences and attitudes of six of our individuals. It's truly humbling to see how our participants have interpreted this theme, and how it translates into their artwork. I definitely have learned from their pieces, and hope that others will be able to come and check them out!
In addition to this wonderful show, we will also be showing some truly stunning pieces that were created in our experimental art classes that are led by Natasha. Here's a sneak peek of a few of those pieces. You don't want to miss it!
Come join us this Friday from 6-9!!!
