Laura brought in this super-patriotic photo--her flag shirt, Cubs hat, and flag all in ONE picture! We LOVE holidays here, and since we are closed for the 4th of July, we will be having a little party tomorrow. S'mores, watching 1776, and jamming out to some good American music! Happy 4th of July to all of our friends--we hope it is a joyful day!

Jon is always up for a challenge. And when the challenge comes from the super cool Urban Arts Gallery, he puts in an all new sort of energy! Of all of our artists, this gallery fits most closely with Jon's style--witty, sassy, and a little edgy. The Urban Arts Gallery put a call out to artists for Christmas ornaments for their Holiday Bazaar. Jon made his ornaments--and they are awesome! You should probably hop over to the Bazaar this weekend to check 'em out! The Urban Arts Gallery is in the Gateway, and will be open Friday from 6-9pm, Saturday from 12-8pm, and Sunday from 12-6pm. Jon has earned the Bragging Rights for the week!

Hope you all have a wonderful Halloween! We will post more pictures of our fabulous Halloween Party tomorrow! Oh, my. If you want to see some people having a good time, you should stop by a TURN party. We were dancing our little hearts out. Good food, good music, and presents for everyone! It was nice to be able to visit with the people who go to other programs and to dance with such little inhibition. Take a look:
I'll admit it. I made everybody dress up. We may have brought extra costumes for the people who didn't dress up. We might take Halloween a little too seriously here, but at least we had fun! First class of the day was the learning the Thriller dance, then we read creepy stories, played Monster Charades, and sang scary songs. Too much fun!
